We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to work in our nursing department as a Nurse Shift Program Supervisor. This position will supervise all nursing services and personnel of a specific unit. Must have an active, unrestricted/probated status as a Registered Nurse on the KBN licensure verification.
Skill and expectations for this position include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises nursing services for an assigned unit.
- Determines the level of nursing care to ensure resident care needs.
- Documents employee evaluations, develops work assignments, monitors staffing levels and delegates responsibilities to other levels of nursing staff.
- Supervises professional and ancillary employees in the administration of efficient nursing care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
